Elizabeth Schimel has been announced as President of Condé Nast in China, where she's to be responsible for magazine brands including Vogue, Self and Gentlemen's Quarterly.

Schimel, who's currently Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer of publishing company Meredith and takes up her new role in October, commented 'Condé Nast's commitment to excellence and its thriving presence in China offer a unique platform for growth. It is an irresistible opportunity'.
